Dodson also reported seeing an increase in new cases from victims injured by drunk drivers. We often get calls from injured victims after the New Year, and that, unfortunately, has been the case again this year.”

Dodson's firm is currently pursuing several cases against persons caught driving under the influence and, in some situations, against the restaurants and bars that served those drivers. Dodson is hopeful some of those cases will make it to trial before the end of this year. “I would like to go to trial with some of these cases in November or December. Maybe that would send a message about how dangerous it is to drink and drive, just before people start the holiday party season that often results in these terrible situations.”
